The aim of the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is to promote gender equality in the workplace. Organisations which are recognised will need to meet policy frameworks and communication around creating and fostering a gender-equal workforce. The workforce, via survey, overwhelming agree that there is an equal opportunity, flexibility and clear behavioural standards in attracting female talent.

- Removal of barriers to the full and equal participation of women in the workforce
- Access to all occupations and industries, including leadership roles, regardless of gender; and
- Elimination of discrimination on the basis of gender, particularly in relation to family and caring responsibilities.
