The lives and livelihoods of millions around the world face danger from climate change. Global healthcare systems, designed to save lives, contribute to over 4% of global CO2 emissions – more than the aviation and shipping industries. As we strive to transform healthcare, we need to decarbonize it too, by taking climate action, driving the transition to a circular economy, implementing EcoDesign in our products, and partnering with our suppliers to reduce their environmental footprint.

Our commitment to improving people’s health and well-being includes 300 million people in underserved communities by 2025, rising to 400 million by 2030.
