Talent Acquisition – the Talent Acquisition team is responsible for recruiting world-class professionals who play a vital part in achieving Philips' mission and vision of improving people's lives. This team ensures the delivery of all facets of the recruiting process, from setting up the recruitment strategy to onboarding new employees. Talent Acquisition Consultants, located in our hub in Lodz, develop and execute recruitment plans for a wide range of markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Next to that, the TA Team drives the deployment of new, creative ideas for recruitment and employer branding activities and cooperates with HR Teams in various cross-functional projects.
Human Resources – the HR team ensures that the hub is compliant with legal aspects of employment, Philips' internal regulations, and guidelines. Another task of HR is to support team leaders in people-related areas and deploy Philips global HR programs, e.g., career development or rewards and recognition. HR works closely with Change & Communications and Learning & Development.
Change & Communications – the Change & Communications team takes care of effective communication across the hub and engages employees in the Philips company life and mission. The main goal is to keep teams informed using various channels and creating occasions for employees to engage, integrate, and experience the Philips culture. Change & Communications is also responsible for deploying global programs and works tightly with HR and Learning & Development.
Learning & Development – one of the first functions you'll meet in your early days at Philips, Learning & Development is responsible for onboarding for new joiners. They also coordinate training and language courses, working hand-in-hand with HR, and Change & Communications.
Operational Excellence & Business Support – the Operational Excellence and Business Support team ensures that all operations in the hub are lean, agile, and continuously improving to deliver what customers want, with a simultaneous focus on quality, time, and cost. They also ensure our employees' high standard of working conditions, safety, and the secure continuity of our processes.
Performance Management & Project Management Office – this team implements process-driven organizational structures that enable further growth. Performance Management domain coordinates and supports the reporting processes of all GBS Hub KPIs. PMO is responsible for developing the structure to drive harmonization, standardization, and best practice deployment over GBS Hub service lines.
Health & Safety – the goal of our Health & Safety team is to safeguard our people, reducing their potential exposure to harmful situations in the workplace. This team identifies hazards, assesses the risk, and creates emergency procedures. The Health & Safety Manager is also responsible for training personnel, coordinating fire drills, and creating a safety-driven culture.
IT – the IT team in the Lodz hub ensures all technology infrastructure in the office works seamlessly and is maintained regularly. They are also responsible for the preparation and distribution of PCs and the implementation of Philips global or regional IT projects.
Facility Management – our Facility Management team makes sure that office administration runs smoothly, e.g., that supplies are available and ordered on time, coffee machines are maintained, the office is clean and that repairs are done promptly. This team is also the contact point for the Symetris Business Park administration.
Service Record Review – the SRR team works on quality issues reported by engineers and, in this way, has a direct impact on the product quality and company's brand. Their activities include describing the problems reported and solving how to encode them in the system.
