Supply Chain Management
Our Supply Chain function is responsible for the delivery and improvement of our end-to-end supply chain processes for medical equipment and consumer care products.

Order Management – the OM team manages orders for various Philips customers. Their activities include order entry, invoicing, handling disputes, and contact with the customer. The team serves most of our European markets.

Integral Warehousing & Distribution (IWD) – the IWD team is responsible for transporting ordered machines. They process shipment orders, monitor and track freight, and manage the carriers. They are not only in contact with customers but also with Philips factories.

Site Planning – consisting of architects, engineers, and designers, this team cooperates with hospitals to prepare examination rooms for the installation of machines, such as X-rays, MRs, CTs, or IGTs. They develop 3D models and draw plans if the space needs to be re-adapted and design shielding from magnetic radiation.

Sales Back Office (SBO) – the SBO team is responsible for critical order acquisition and execution activities that directly contribute to the success of our international multi-channel sales organization. When we get an order from our customer, it is this team's responsibility to process it and initiate quick and efficient actions that enable other teams.

Supply Chain & Process Engineering - the team creates and evaluates new supply chain concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope, in line with our business strategy. The team works as an integrator, together with experts and stakeholders from inside and outside the Supply Chain function.
