At Philips, we’re always looking for ways to make life better. For our customers, but also everyone who works here. It’s why we embrace diversity and celebrate our differences. Every employee is valued, regardless of race, ethnicity or age, gender or sexual orientation, or anything else that makes you unique.

Philips Named to the Forbes Best Employers for Diversity 2023 List

Philips integrates inclusion, belonging, equity and wellbeing into every aspect of the employee experience, starting when prospective candidates are first considering joining the company. Philips has taken strides to develop its diverse talent and increase representation in all parts of the company with an eye toward gender, race and ethnicity.

Diversity is a strength that drives more possibilities

At Philips, we recognize that the best and most innovative solutions are created when people who think differently from each other collaborate. When they're open to new ideas and perspectives. Diversity gives us the power to create more opportunities.

A diverse, inclusive and healthy workplace energizes and drives better business outcomes. People who feel respected and heard bring their best qualities to work, which leads to better collaboration, communication, innovation and success. This mindset drives our commitment to an inclusive culture where every employee feels part of the team and enables a diverse workplace to thrive.

When you're at your best, we're at ours

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led groups run by volunteers. These communities play a crucial role in helping Philips foster an inclusive workplace. ERGs provide a safe space for employees to make meaningful connections, develop career opportunities, expand skills, and support key business initiatives. While strengthening relationships within the Philips community, ERGs promote a sense of belonging and encourage dialogue, providing new ways to look at issues and drive innovation. More than 5,000 employees are involved with the ten ERGs in North America. Maybe one (or more) is a place for you? Check out the various ERGs below. Allies are also welcome!
