If you pass the pre-selection round, fill out the online competency test

The most suitable candidates will then be invited to the final step in the selection process, the Business Challenge

Traineeship Business Challenge

At the Business Challenge of 1½ days you join a group of other talented graduates who are also in the final round of the selection process. The first day you get a better look of the fascinating and interesting world of Philips and you meet trainees who are already working in our organization. The second day you will work on several very challenging assignments for business related cases. This is your opportunity to prove your entrepreneurial skills to experienced Philips employees and managers.

During the Business Challenge we will continually assess your performance and in the same week you receive a report with personal feedback. Within 2-3 days after the Business Challenge you receive a phone call from the recruiter with the news if you will be hired or not.
Elena Marselis, Trainee Marketing: "The Business Challenge was a great and unforgettable experience. You get objective feedback over your own performance; discover what your knowledge and skills are worth, what you should work on further and learn a lot just by performing the tasks. You also meet a lot of new young enthusiastic people and that is very inspiring. The day was very intense, but you get a lot out of it as well. Honestly, I would do it again if I had the chance.”
Alwin Tulner, Trainee Finance: "I can sum that up in three words: fun, exciting and educational. You know that you are very close to getting something you really want. Of course you want to succeed in winning the last challenge. It is very competitive, because you know that you are directly competing with one other person for a single spot. If you then hear that you have won and have been accepted, that is a real personal victory. That was definitely worth celebrating with a small party!”
