•will soon finish or have recently graduated with a Master’s degree
• have a maximum of 1 year work experience;
• are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit 
• have excellent inter-personal and communication skills, so you can work with colleagues at all levels of the organization;

• speak and write fluent English

If you pass the pre-selection round, fill out the online competency test
A combination of results from the competency test and your CV, motivation and grade list will determine if you are invited to the selection days in The Netherlands
The most suitable candidates will then be invited to the final step in the selection process, the Business Challenge

Traineeship Business Challenge


At the Business Challenge of 1½ days you join a group of other talented graduates who are also in the final round of the selection process. The first day you get a better look of the fascinating and interesting world of Philips and you meet trainees who are already working in our organization. The second day you will work on several very challenging assignments for business related cases. This is your opportunity to prove your entrepreneurial skills to experienced Philips employees and managers. 

During the Business Challenge we will continually assess your performance and in the same week you receive a report with personal feedback. Within 2-3 days after the Business Challenge you receive a phone call from the recruiter with the news if you will be hired or not.
